Monthly AHEC Scholar Profile - April 2025

My name is Meghann Hansen.  I recently finished the LPN program at Western Dakota Technical College with intentions of continuing on further for my RN. I am driven by a passion for serving others and a desire to acquire more knowledge of the human body and its disease processes. I have two sons, Austin and Jack, who I enjoy sharing the Black Hills with. We spend our weekends hiking, camping, fishing, and snowboarding. AHEC Scholars has been a vital resource in my pursuit of nursing, as well as a great space to connect with other professionals and experts in the field. I am so grateful I met Annette while getting my CNA certification and was encouraged to continue my education even further.
