Annaliese Braucht - biomedical engineering/biology/pre-med student at SD Mines
My name is Annaliese Braucht, and I am a student at the South Dakota School of Mines, studying biology and biomedical engineering. I am planning on attending medical school following my undergraduate degrees. I am originally from rural Southwest Minnesota, where my parents and two brothers still reside. I currently work as a nursing assistant in the Rapid City Hospital's Women's and Children's unit. I am also a dance teacher at a local dance studio. I love caring for people as well as utilizing science to develop more effective treatments for disease and illness, so the medical field allows me to explore science while still aiding people throughout their lives!
